Carrie Fisher reportedly in critical condition after heart attack on plane

Her "Star Wars" costar Mark Hamill was among the many stars tweeting their concern.

Fisher recently had another book published. One, the YouTube star Anna Akana, wrote: "She wasn't breathing for 10 minutes or so". Suffered a massive heart attack on the way from London to L.A.X. She has been reportedly put on ventilator support.

"I'm shocked and saddened to hear the news about my dear friend", actor Harrison Ford told The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday. However, it sounds like Carrie had stopped breathing for quite some time before she got help. "Hope she's gonna be OK", she wrote.

She returned a year ago in Disney's reboot of the Star Wars franchise, The Force Awakens, appearing as the more matronly military resistance leader, General Leia Organa.
