Kanye West Was Hospitalized for 'Temporary Psychosis'

A source close to the family says Kanye is surrounded by loved ones who care for him, led by his wife.

The 36-year-old television personality was expected to attend Denise Rich's Angel Ball on Monday, her first high-profile appearance since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris last month, but understandably wanted to be with Kanye instead. She was so anxious and didn't feel better until she was with him.

An insider previously told the site that West was under a lot of pressure. Essentially, that would require a third party medical practitioner to determine whether or not West's exhaustion would physically allow him to continue.

Law enforcement sources confirmed an incident to The Times, but could not identify the person by name because of privacy laws.

Beyoncé is reportedly urging husband Jay Z to patch things up with Kanye West following news of the rapper's recent hospitalisation.

A source told the publication that Kanye had agreed to medical treatment voluntarily after advice from his doctor, saying, "There was a small altercation at the gym but he was deemed medically stable and made a decision to seek medical help at his doctor's request. It's very hard to explain, but something has happened recently, where he's not the 'Ye that everyone knows", the source added.

A source told People magazine, "He is exhausted and now dealing with sleep deprivation". With the tour canceled, Kim hopes that Kanye will feel better soon.
