Buckeyes prep for another tough contest at Penn State

Although PSU did beat Ohio State in Columbus in 2011 which was the last time they came out on top in the series.

The stadium gates will open at 6 p.m. for the 8 p.m. game against Ohio State. With Ohio State's overtime win at Camp Randall Stadium, Meyer joins "Father of American Football" Walter Camp-a guy who coached in the 19th century-as the only coaches to start a tenure at a school with 20 consecutive road wins. In total nine different players have 10 or more tackles on the Buckeyes defense, Tyquan Lewis has four sacks to his name while Nick Bosa added three more to Ohio State's total on the year. "But these top five teams are top five teams for a reason and they played like it today". Ohio State knew what it had with its only returning starter, cornerback Gareon Conley.

END OF THE LINE: Penn State will likely use a combination of Paris Palmer and Chasz Wright to plug the hole left by Andrew Nelson's season-ending knee injury and keep Ohio State's surging defensive line at bay. "We got some extra work on with our young guys in terms of development which is going to be very important moving forward".

LGHL: That's an interesting stat, and one that illustrates the fact that Ohio State has had trouble pushing the ball downfield all season, and even dating back to a year ago with Barrett as a passer.

The Nittany Lions have lost the last four games to the Buckeyes, including in overtime during the 2014 White Out. Unfortunately for Ohio State, "on paper" doesn't always translate onto the gridiron. "These guys are as talented at every position as anyone in the country". I think J.T. Barrett is going to have an impressive showing both passing and running.

BSD: Speaking of Barrett, he carried the ball more than 20 times in each of Ohio State's last two games. "They have talent and speed at wide receiver". Ohio State has had a bevy of elite quarterbacks, so even as good as Barrett has been, he does have to be compared to Cardale Jones and Braxton Miller, at least when talking about recent memory. No quarterback has survived an entire season in Meyer's offense while at Ohio State, and Barrett himself fell victim to injury on a QB run against MI in 2016. "He's a large percentage of their running game in designed quarterback runs or read options, and then you sprinkle in some of the scrambles".

"I think we would be extremely comfortable if it's a shootout", tight end Mike Gesicki said.

Thanks again to E.L. Speyer for taking the time to answer our questions. Saquon Barkley was the major contributor for Penn State here, however, with 31 carries for 202 yards and a TD. The experience-driven initiative will debut the week of October 24 and include content from all 31 teams over the course of 2016-17. And, that night, Barrett, took the game over, too. "We've just got to go take care of Monday and take care of Tuesday and so on".

It had quite a lightning show, strong winds and ominous black clouds, which had people from OH watching the Oklahoma natives to see if those clouds had tornado potential. "I get to see him about six inches from my face and see the intensity and the focus and the human sprit that is as good as I've ever been around".

Ohio State senior kicker Tyler Durbin put the Buckeyes on the scoreboard in the first half with field goals of 40 and 46 yards. And Meyer, of course, noticed.

LGHL: It's hard to say.

A +8 turnover margin is fourth best in the nation and Ohio State's 12.8 ppg allowed is third best in scoring defense nationally.
