Lady Gaga, Florence Welch Recorded a Song Together

Lady Gaga has released her new single, Perfect Illusion. At points, it nearly sounds like the classic rock band Queen.

The pop superstar unveiled the dance-rock anthem this morning, set to be the lead single from her upcoming fifth studio album, which is yet to receive a title or release date. All in all, it's a talent-packed affair.

And she added: "I'm so embarrassed!" She remained relatively secretive in terms of what the song was about and why she wanted to sing with another girl and specifically said that people will see why when they finally see what the song is actually all about.

Her collaboration with Ronson also apparently runs deep: "You could nearly see it is me and Mark being a band when we were making it", she said during the interview.

Little Monsters rejoice - Lady Gaga is back.

"I try to look at things in perspective".

The Poker Face singer told fans to visit her father's Italian restaurant, Joanne Trattoria, if they are in NY, to sample the "meatballs", while he also plugged his new cookbook. Of course, haters gonna hate, but true fans of Lady Gaga will be beyond excited for this new single, so take a listen below!

"I think social media is a great way of keeping in touch with your family and friends to document your life and I can talk to my fans and share artwork. How do we look through these images that we know are filtered and altered, and decipher what is reality and what is a flawless illusion?" The two are singing a duet together after the singer began working on an idea that saw her really wanting to sing with another female. But there are also a lot of things on the internet that are not reality. "This is about accepting that and letting go".

The singer recorded her new album with producer Mark Ronson.

We were so used to Lady Gaga's meat suits and wild performances, that when she stepped away from releasing music for a couple years, it was a shock to us all.

She also sat at a keyboard to perform a slowed-down version of Bad Romance, and then was back up and dancing to sing her breakthrough hit, Just Dance.

According to Billboard, Gaga revealed the inspiration behind the song at the iHeartRadio Music Summit last month.
