It was the biggest night so far for the NY real estate mogul's campaign and final night of the 2016 Republican National Convention held at the Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland in the U.S. State of Ohio.

Trump said people have praised him for his "incredible" primary run but told his backers that "nothing's incredible unless I win".

During his lengthy address - one hour and 15 minutes - Trump said he would bring back law and order. The crowd responded with repeated ovations and chants like "build that wall!" and "U-S-A!"
Trump said he would add millions of new jobs and trillions in new wealth. Thursday - the night of Trump's speech and the last night of the convention - was the only night in which the arena was fully packed.
"America is better than Donald Trump".
"This is his chance to tell in his own words why he wants to be president, why he believes he is qualified to be president and what he plans to do if he is elected", Chen said.

He said the governor will meet with Trump at some point but that may not happen until after the convention.

Trump then made a surprise appearance in his private box, glaring at the stage as Cruz departed. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told CNN that he "totally" disagrees with Trump's suggestion that US support could be conditional.
"I feel so bad", he joked. "They're so honest. They're such honorable people".
